Guilty until proven innocent
by Ganesh Krishnamurthy on Jan 08, 2008 11:41 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Perhaps in Australia, the law works differently. You are guilty until proven innocent. Or maybe this is true when the accused is of Indian origin. This is not the first time though - we have all heard and read about doctor Mohammed Haneef. I feel sad for immigrants of Indian origin, living their lives in Australia.

Yes, clearly people of Indian origin in India should be felt sorry for - that would explain why they are migrating here in their thousands, then encouraging their brothers, sisters, cousins, parents and other relatives to move here to enjoy what must be a horrible place.

PS - I'm of Indian origin living in Australia.
PPS - Proctor is applying ICC regulations, not Australian law - Australians don't agree with the decision based on the currently disclosed evidence, hence our request for full disclosure
PPPS - build a bridge

Cheers
Michael
