I would also request the Indians who are paying good money to Aussie cricket players to come perform in India (whether on the ground - IPL or off it like Movie acting) to reconsider whether boycotting Aussie cricket connections would serve them better! I definitely would advise Gavaskar to request that his name be removed from the trophy - it is an insult to allow his name to be linked with such an unsportsmanlike event.

I agree. Lets reduce the Aussie cricketers wage frm $1MAus/yr to $500,000Aus/yr. They'll have to move out of 3 storey houses into 2. Lets take Gavaskars name off the trophy. We don't want someones name on the trophy who was given out LBW and refused to continue playing the game. Unsportsmanlike conduct has no place on this trophy.
