I hope our junior players read what Kumble has said, especially the last sentence. But some of them don't even respect their own seniors let alone the opponents. After winning one or two tournaments they think they are the greatest. If they want to last for as many years as some of the seniors, better they learn from them as how to conduct oneself on and off the field. Sachin, Dravid, Laxman and Kumble are highly respected by their opponents not only for their on field exploits but also for the dignified way they conduct themselves on and off the field. But how many of our so called young heroes are respected by the opposition? None I feel.

Kumble talks like a proffessor. And in life you cannot have book like solutions. You have to face situations and hit back when someone's hitting you. I can understand his teacher like approach considering the fact that in the South people have not seen any war for centuries now. Life cannot be in Black and White...as long as there is humanity there will be greed, aggression, selfishness, love, compassion and so on and so forth
