As a people Indians cannot get over the habit of drooling and ogling over females. They publicly exhibit this perversion so shamelessly - making lewd comments, making actions, even go to the extend of touching etc.
This is *definitely* due to the image of women created by the media and movies - with all the suggestive dances, dialogues with dual meaning and 'item numbers'. This is creating a bad orientation in the mind of the people and they look upon every good looking female as an object of entertainment and pleasure. They stare at them like a jackal would stare its prey and make unwanted advances. The reason I say this is that I have observed (from my years abroad) that men from other countries and cultures don't seem to suffer from this 'disease' of staring, ogling, eve-teasing etc.
This IS a product of our filmi culture. There is nudity in foreign movies also - but all that will be as part of the story - not nudity for the sake of it.
And Rediff, you too are in the forefront of this ill-projection of women - with all the drool lists of hollywood and bollywood beauties you put out so religiously.

Actually women entertainers are not required in a cricket stadium. I feel irritated though I am watching in TV. People are coming to watch cricket, not women in the cricket ground. They have many option, if required. Authorities are unfortunately thinking otherwise, according to their wishlist..!!

absolutely....reason our women always covered...men get to see very little from the beginning n not used it.....virginity is followed by men/women...no sex before marriage....U cant get married then no sex...Solution:Govt like S'pore encourage safe prostitution,co-education schools are a must.... Compulsory national defense service for 2 yrs for all rich,famous,poor after Plus2 a must...
