bcci is up to improve ipl interest. they r doing this by reducing boundaries. how can u keep such records in the record books. ridiculous. although hussey scored 100 fastest but abt short boundaries which helped him unfairly.

:-) So after the unfair pitch, now it's the case of unfair boundaries. Perhaps it's a case of unfair ben hur?

ben hur, you have said exactly what I thought while watching the game. The boundaries were ridiculously short. However, I thought the hits of Brendon McCullum might well have crossed even the biggest boundaries :) You are right. The interest of the games will be lost by having too short boundaries, giving no room at all for the bowlers. As I said before, this is one of the reasons I haven't enjoyed the IPL games so far as much as I enjoyed ICL games. Hope the games will be more competitive and set high standards for everthing, especially fielding, which was very very poor by everyone, even the so called "youngsters".

true. myopinion. icl fielding is extraordinary. n there is no meaning of keeping such records of fastest 100s with shortened boundaries. It is unfair to the player who might hv scored 100 on the big grounds. even otherwise, this is not an intnl match so as to keep records as century of tti. this is a local match in IPL.
