IPL and general public
by BHARAT on Apr 14, 2008 04:19 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The continuing price rise problem and the hardship the commom man is facing to meet his daily bread and butter, forcing him to make hue and cry at every possible forum will defenitely deter his venturing into the stadium to watch the so called dummy matches. At the same time he will be wasting some productive hours which will be against the national interest.
The way, IPL has gone crazy and unethical in it's approach, this is the duty of all Indians to bycott this extravagenza. Pl realise that it is better to use your hard earn money to take care of your family needs rather than to throw it out into the big pockets of IPL and associated crorepatis.
This is not only an advise but a humble request to all fellow countrymen to realise the need of the hour. How can you allow a few rich and famous to loot you, even if, marginally. How can you think of enjoying this game of the kind of money involved, while your fellow contryman are suiciding just because they cannot arrange to provide for the basic needs of their family.

I agree. This IPL show is simply a big TAMASHA being enacted to counter ICL (which wanted to break BCCI hegomony and inside politics)and fill the pockets of a few super rich 'ownners' of cricketers. Any person going to spend his hard earned money on these TAMASHAS has to be either stinkily rich or something wrong with his mental balance.
