Its really not a good idea to ban Sites as Cricinfo and Rediff on covering IPL. As they have signed the agreement with a US based company so now they dont have much say. What IPL forgot is the popularity and free publicity they would have generated from Rediff & Cricinfo. Its really a good idea for IPL to sell website rights and make more money but at what cost is the question. You cannot make an event sucessful if you are going against Media.
We just need to hope that the US Based site doesnt charge us, if we need to see details of the match online !!
