Hope IPL is a big flop
by jagdish rao on Apr 09, 2008 12:44 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

I am only hoping that IPL becomes a big flop. There is too much cricket. and IPL will only add to the overkill. And it is so blantantly about money and not cricket. BCCI is filled with greedy business men. Sharad Pawar spents more time in cricket and IPL then in agriculture ministry. How come he holds an office of profit when he is a minister and is not supposed to.
There is one set of rules for ordinary folks and a different set for rich and the powerful.

It will flop because you and I can only appreciate 'National Teams' and not SRK's or PZ's though Saurav or Ponting may play for them.

Jagdish,

Your concern about Sharad Pawar is correct. He has set a very bad precedent. Now every minister wants to become BCCI president.

Lalu is waiting to become BCCI president in next few years. He will ensure his son plays for India during his period.

So,the final statement. There are no politics in Indian cricket. There are only politicians in Indian cricket.. he..he..he..he..

Sharad Pawar and Lalit Modi are behaving as if unke baap ka raj chal raha hai. Unfortunately the government is not doing anything to stop this autocracy.
