Shameless Sachin!!
by John Miles on Apr 07, 2008 09:39 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Sachin Tendulkar is the most shameless and selfish sportsperson India has ever seen....

He has ammased his millions, plays only for money and never for the country!!

And now this shameless person wants to carry the Olympic torch???????

What has he done for India?? Has he won even a single medal for India?? Cricket is not an olympic sport so cricketers should never come forward and volunteer to carry the torch..

It should only be left to the sportspersons who have brought fame to India in Olympics or those who play a sport which has representation at the Olympics!!

This is the height of shamelessness by Tendulkar!!
Examples of shamelessness :
1) Volunteering to carry Olmpic torch inspite of the fact that cricket not an olympic sport!!

2) Not paying duty on Ferrari

3) Letting India down in 2007 World cup

4) Faking injury to avoid the pace of Dale Steyn, real cowardice!!

Mr.Miles, It is news to us that Dale Steyn and Co are more difficult to play on slow Indian pitches than Bret Lee and Co on the quick Aus pitches (where Sachin just scored 500 runs in 7 innings) that Sachin had to fake an injury. If he had to do that, he could have easily done do in Aus. You must be a genius to have figured this out. Moreover if carrying Olympic torch was not meant for non-olympians then hundreds of others would be disqualified. In WC 2007, Sachin was not alone to fail.(This was the 1st WC that he failed, whereas in the last WC he was player of series in SA scoring 623 runs). Any player would have a bad day, so put blame on one individual? Cricket is a team sport and winning or loosing is not dependent on a single individual. There were also other so called "heroes" (much hyped) like Dhoni and then you also had Yuvraj and Dravid (the great skipper) who let India down. Winning WC is not everything, one has to play consistently over Get a life man and dont criticize just for the sake of it.

Haha faking injury to avoid Dale steyn on slow pitches at home, whereas he was okay facing Tait, Lee and Mitch in Perth. You are a great kidder.

Every sportsman has a right to contribute to the Olys. Just cos tennis is an Oly sport doesnt mean the medal is worth much with hardly anyone from the top20 ever showing up.

Btw Rajput is the biggest ****** I have seen. This is the problem with these idiots, they will put anybody under the bus. Every player gets injured and by saying he will be prepared for IPL he is jeopardizing Sachins image. Would anyone in Cricket Australia do this. Some of these past generation Indians are such morons. These are the idiots who are managers of the Indian software companies and manage to lose the best employees due to their uncontrolled speech and saying stupid things and embarassing the talented folk. I am sure most of you have experienced atleast one such nutcase.

true .. by speaking the truth , Rajput has just said what Sachin's detractors have been saying. The guy is faking injury so that there is no risk before the dog and pony show of IPL. The slave is worthless if injured after so much money has changed hands.

I actually agree with you Rakesh....even though your message rips my header to pieces, i still agree with you!! That Rajput has made a very dumb statement...

And yes, i agree with you that middle management in IT companies is the stupidest group of people who you can ever meet....esp. in TCS and Infy..

They don't have the business acumen of senior management and the technical expertise of engineering studs who actually are responsible for these companies high market valuation!!

Well said Mr Rakesh Narayan....

I just lost respect for Tendulkar cos i thought he should not have volunteered for it, rather, it would neways have come to him!!

This is exactly why an honest educated man can never be a politician in this country. Even the educated people dont trust each other. Do you trust anyone except your parents/children when they have clearly committed a crime and they claim they havent. Damn how are you going to trust anyone ever? Is this what Indian culture is all about.
