The problem is in the first innings. india played well in the second innings.the return of ganguly and dhoni's form are positive signs.jaffer played very well in both the innings and also in australia, but the fact remains that he has got out to good balls.dravid and laxman are playing well and provided india don't lose their self-confidence, they will come out guns blazing in the second test.SA don't become overconfident by this victory.

Dhoni returning to form? Did you watch his innings yesterday, he could have got anytime the way he was struggling against pacers? Jaffer is not good on helpful wickets, he has not technique to counter the swing and bounce. He is only good on slow and low pitches where he will score hundreds. Laxman has countless times got out in 20s and 30s and gets bowled to incoming deliveries pretty often. Despite all these shortcomings Indians could have played better, but most of them were side tracked in attending their IPL team launches and appearing on TVs and not attending the practice sessions whereas SA has come fully prepared. The myth of Indian spin bowling prowess has been broken and there is no way Indian bowlers will get SA out twice on these wickets.

This slow and low pitches are applicable to all players like Dravid, Dhoni, Sehwag, what not. Indian borne to play on such wicket even club cricketer do not find difficulty in playing to Mcgrath or Bret Lee or jkesan Gilespee kin of players in Indian slow low wickets.
