I fully agree with the author of this article. Cricket is yet another sport. It is ridiculous to see that 3-4 million dollars have been give in award to the team and one player has been given an expensive car. It is interesting to know that BCCI has so much money. There is no doubt that players should be awarded but not like this. BCCI should donate a major portion of its earning for the benefit of common people--like building hospital or some other noble cause. We are a poor country and money earned through cricket should be used for the benefit of common man.

yes. bcci should rather think of donating at least a part of their earnings, may b 5%, on upliftment of other sports, so far neglected in india. Any way, they r getting so much of tax exemptions on their income, they can part away with a portion of tax so saved, on other sports.
