This article is pure ridiculos. I do agree that the victory ceremony was more political than it was suppose to be. When Italy , England won the football and rugby world cup their players were given the same reception, and the players deserved it. Instead of appreciating the achievement of our boys , you are bringing poverty, and weak infrastructure into their success. This is not a place nor the time for that. If you do not appreciate indian tem success you should step back and let others enjoy it, instead of whinning about the indian politcs and poverty. Next time you complain about the infrastructure, think what have you done to improve it. Its easy to sit and write and complain, buts it harder to act on things. Action speak louder than words, and this article is all fart no shit.

While agreeing with most of what you said Adrian, it must be pointed out that other nations treat "any achievement" proudly and provide grand reception to teams/sportsmen in whatever sport they win. India, on the other hand, doesn't give a damn about achievements in any other sports and erupts at even minor achievements in cricket, hyping them up to world beating level.
