First of all congratulation for looking the cricket in right way. We Indians may be different in many respects but one thing that is dead-sure is the mentality of making people God. We have followers and only followers all the way. No one wants to be a leader and is more than happy in clapping for the success of others. And where it is no the case, there is no healthy competition either, its just jealousy and rivalry . Whether it be an unemployed young man or a software professional, everyone has found a great excuse in cricket for their mentality of "work only to survive". People will boast the record like it is helping the mankind, try to be the greatest analyzer even born for this game and thus shamelessly waste their lives which they could have used for the betterment of self and society. How many people are learning commitment, importance of fitness, decision making quality. For God's sake, move away from your television. "Khud kahi jakar cricket khelo naa, apna stamina badao, apna reaction-time improve karo, team mein kaam karna sikho. Kab tak, aakhir kab tak bas TV dekhkar taliyaan bajate rahoge." Don't let anything, anything means ANYTHING, overrides your life. Life is much more than a game, much more than an action, much more than a blind-devotion. Open your eyes and see the beauty of life. GO, GET SOME SUCCESS FOR YOURSELF RATHER THAN ONLY ENJOYING OTHERS'S.

I agree. We in India r just cricket crazy, rather passive ckt watcher generation. and not producing active cricket players eg. Pace battery like shoaib, bret lee, bond,etc. fit and agile players like Rhodes.
