Rather taking a cue from modi other CMs should learn its alrady hard paid taxes they r giving away the money who have already been given a biunty of 2 million 2 b distributed among themselves, There are threee cases i know of who have not yet recieved the compensation of mumbai blasts as they have 2 prove that these ppl were actuallt travelling on the train that day, All cms its a earnest request 2 refrain from such stunts as u ppl are killing the other sports why no award was given 2 recently concluded Asia cup just bcoz they cant get u milage. REDIFF as usual has got in to habit of creating controversy its just Narendra modi didnt give any awards like oyther counterparts just a plain question i wanna ask u HAS UR SITE BEEN BOUGHT OUT BY SOME ARAB SHAIKH OR SOME CHRISTAIN MISSIONARY as i am fallowing ur site 4m last few weeks i realised i need 2 look for other options and may be mov 2 other sites who offer objective and correct analysis u r site has become like all those channels who just 2 up the TRP have been fallowing controversial topics with only aim 2 up ur TRP not 2 bring out rational discussion forum thank youy very much REDIFF GOOD BYE

You have a point. The $2m for team $0.25m for Yuvraj adulation from millions of people, including me, is sufficient. There is no reason to glorify politicians who jump on the cricket bandwagon to exploit public sentiment for personal gain.
Narendra Modi has done nothing wrong. And Prasanna Zore & Rediff editors should be ashamed of themselves for stoking a meaningless fire.

This is not the way to greet Indian who have performed well in their particular field. They deserve at least a congratulatory remark from all of us. See what leaders are doing with this hard earned money? They are spending a sizable portion of same for their well being and amusements. The maintenance of Car fleets, these CM's are having, is costing much more than Rs. 10 lakhs. If they are really sensible for the well being of poor, they should have cut down on their personal cost which has to be born by us the "Tax Payers". I am not against any person or political party but we must be sensible. Dear Mr. Praveen "Suppose you achieve a feet in your area of specialization, which makes country proud, you will be sensitized enough to expect at least some good words from people and our representatives in Governance.
