What stupid bit of journalism.. Lets face it, the money will be paid by the tax payers themselves. Its better they are saved for some other purpose rather than adding a mere 1% to the cricketer's kitty, which they dont even care. And, were you there to question why no state offered rewards to the hockey players when we won the Asia cup, or when the footballers won the nehru Cup? And please, use your head, not your 'pseudo' secular heart!
