The intent of the title is clear. The writer has such a strong political axe to grind, that he uses even this to discredit Modi.
Let us extend the question - Why has the PM not announced any reward - He likes Pakistan and not India ! Why is MKarunanidhi not declaring any prize to Dinesh Karthik - he does not like any body whose name begins with D!. Why is Rajashekar Reddy giving the Indian team an reward - because there is no body from Andhra?! Inspite of good performance why is Sreesanth not receiving any reward from Achuthanandan - because communists do not like cricket! You can keep speculating with no end. It is clear to your writer as to why Modi has not taken a cue from other chief minister - it is not clear to us. In any case do these players have to be given an award apart from their regular earnings and endorsements ?? Why is your author not crying for poor people of India??
I think that this article has to be removed by Rediff for abuse. R Raghavendra Ravi
