What a shoddy piece of journalism. There were absolutely no major protests or effigy burnings anywhere in Pakistan. I have no idea where this pathetic site came up with this story. There might have been a very small protest, a couple of dozen idiots or so, but not even major enough to be reported by nothign even significant enough to be reported by even the local Pakistani media (Dont take my word for it, check it for youself). Yet, Rediff (and a couple of other jingoistic sites) deemed it important enough to be reported on. This is especially weird considering that Rediff doesnt have any correspondents in Pakistan. Nonetheless, it served its purpose by successfully painting all Pakisatnis as bloody savages. Shame on you all who believe a word of vitriolic hatred being spewed here.
