This win should be attributed to Agarkar. His presence in the dressing room alone motivate other players to lift their game.
Any player seeing him thinks "However I play, it cannot be as bad as he plays"
This thought helps even Joginder singh & new comer like Rohit Sharma, Yusouf Pathan to play good cricket.
The Theme of dressing room was "Whatever may be the situation on the ground. It cannot be more worse then Agarkar's Bowling ".
The whole team should thanks to Agarkar that the way he use his political connections to get into the team he doesnt use it to get into the final eleven. He is very honest there

Millind, if they have to get motivated like this , then they have a better man.Agarkar atleast was not playing, there was somebody who was on the field and providing enough scope for others to think that "whatever they do, they can do better than this guy" and he is none other than Sree santh.

You said it mate... Joginder came very close to giving away as many runs as Agarkar but at the end of the day it was proven that no one representing India or any country for that matter can be as pathetic as Agarkar!!
Also someone please explain to me how does he manage to get into the side everytime he is axed from the squad for poor performance?? Irfan, Veru and even Saurav had to prove themselves in domestic matches before they were recalled but this bugger always manges to make it back into the squad without even playin a single Ranji trophy or county match!!

Why loose talk ? Let us compare how Agarkar performs against Australia with main bowlers in India and world over.
Agarkar Matches 21 wickets 36 average runs 28.41 per wicket and wickets per match 1.71
Kapil Matches 41 wickets 45 average runs 27.68 per wicket and wickets per match 1.09
Srinath Matches 29 wickets 33 average runs 36.78 per wicket and wickets per match 1.13
Kumble Matches 29 wickets 31 average runs 40.29 per wicket and wickets per match 1.06
Harbhajan Matches 15 wickets 16 average runs 41.18 per wicket and wickets per match 1.06
Prabhakar Matches 17 wickets 20 average runs 30.50 per wicket and wickets per match 1.17
Binny Matches 23 wickets 21 average runs 33.90 per wicket and wickets per match 0.91
Imran Khan Matches 29 wickets 28 average runs 28.60 per wicket and wickets per match 0.96
Donald Matches 30 wickets 45 average runs 25.97 per wicket and wickets per match 1.5
Murali Matches 33 wickets 46 average runs 30.80 per wicket and wickets per match 1.53
So results suggest Agarkar performed best against Aussies in ODI format. Possible reason Australia is weaker against incoming delivery as their batsmen are strong in cut and pull shot which is dangerous against incoming delivery. Poor chap he is the fastest bowler we have barring Munaf. This shows bowling strength of India in any.

Well said, Sanjay. The guy is the worst under-performer after Javagal Srinath. If only he curbs his impetuosity, Agarkar can do even better, specially when India needs his runs, or for him to bowl tight. He seems to have delusions of grandeur, because when he is batting he seems to think he is Sachin (of the late 90s) and when he is bowling he thinks he is Bret Lee...??? Whenever he plays withing himself, sticks to line & length, he is a far better bowler, as he showed during the WI series. A guy who has been around for so long, should know what's the right length to bowl or what shots he should play.....well, I guess he'll be out permanently, if he doesn't get his act together. The new bunch of fast bowlers are learning fast (except another Sree - Sreesanth, who seems to have the same diesease). All said and done, CONGRATS to Dhoni and the young Indian Team for their fantastic win.. Chak De, India.
