I wish rediff has better quality control on its journalists.

This is not the first major triumph since 1983.

We won the World Championship Cup in 1985, in which all test playing nations participated. We actually won all the matches in that cup.

We also won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2002 (shared with Sri Lanka).

In any case, let us forget the history. This moment is too good to let ignorance spoil it.

I fully agree ur opinion about rediff editing.Anyway its online,too immediate and they dont check back facts, which they should

there was also hero cup in 1993 i think, in which we beat south africa in a thrilling semi final where tendulakr bowled the last over and then defeated west indies in finals, kumble did the trick then...
