Its Really Surprising,At 33 he says he wants to concentrate on Batting? How Long does he think he can do so.he should have shouldered the responsibilty ,and continued with captaincy played for a year or two so that an alternative youngster could be put in his place,RATHER THAN LOOKING INTO The OLDIES For Replacement Of Captaincy,Who are not at all sure of having any steam in them.

I agree fully. I feel that Dravid has acted in a most selfish manner. A captain is supposed 2 b the lst person to leave a sinking ship. Bt Dravid decided 2 dive 1st. Dat 2 when da ship ws cruising along. Along with 10dulkr & Sourav, Dravid will b around 4 barely 2-3yrs. Under Dravid's captaincy, the 3 should have shepherded the team until a new young & capable captain emerged. Dravid's action may give rise 2 a choatic situation where evrybody concntrates more on lobbying for positions rather than concentrating on the tough tours ahead. The ultimate tragedy is that all this had to happen just when the team had begun performing so well on international tours. All because "The Wall" had no stomach 4 a good fight.
