All sledging should be banned. The stump micorophones should be turned up that such "sledging " is there for any one to hear. Each sledge should be penalized with 4 runs added to the opposing side. The other alternative is to have a series of expletives (personal) directed towards the other team which can be learned and practised as part of the match preparation..... The Australians have started this rot in cricket, and they should be banished to their penal colonies for doing this. Cricket needs to restored to its original "gentlemanly state". If not , let us have a contest for the best expletives against the opposing teams, which will attack them personally. Let this be shouted out from the stands, or shown with placards. This will change it to a gladiator style event, which is where it is headed.
