game is a heck lot more entertaining on faster pictches and that is the usual standrd of playing... faster pictches allow for good calibre batsmen to play good strokes if they can negotiate the little bounce...
The game is a lot more fluent and entertaining

tu yeh soch kar itna khush kyon ho raha hai be?
are you a jyotishi?
ya phir australians tere baap lagtey hain??
and why should all be matches played on 'fast bouncy grass tops'?
because some teams are more comfortable on that?
why not play in India on pitches which India is more comfortable on?
why not aussies prepare slow low turners once in a while??
and we are not playing Pakistan just to prepare for aussies...
we should play to win the current series ...and for that, if we get some advantage for being the host country, whats wrong?
are we extended favourible conditions when we tour??
and anyways.....learning to play on difficult pitches should happen on domestic level, not in internationals where winning is needed more

Ganguly was the captain with an in form VVS laxman and Rahul Dravid. This is not the case now. I would want to see dhoni perform in Australia
