For fools on this message board who are saying that we will loose in Australia by shaving off grass and preventing a loss here dont have a clue what they are talking about.There is a reason they call them "home" matches.Not to prepare a wicket which gives better advantage to the opposition than the home team.Morever we are missing our key pace bowlers.If we lose in Australia it will only be one series.Just because we leave grass here and lose a home series to pakistan will not automatically make us victors in australia.
The time to learn batting against pacers is in domestic cricket not by losing home matches to our arch rivals.
Even australia cannot play spin bowlers.They are not going to make turning tracks against Sri lanka just so that they can better prepare for a Indian series later.

yes australia cannot play spin bowlers... thats why in a turning track like adelaide, they played murali and gave him only 2 wickets...
in both tests hussey and jacques scored centuries... and clarke one of the best players of spin had high scores.

Hello, Playing in one test does not make them the best players of spin.For that matter there are any number of tests that I can point out where Indians handled pace bowlers very well.It is looking at what the overall week point is.

I agree with you fully. given the performance of Indian team overseas in the tracks of west indies, south africa and england, the team which has the likes of dravid, sachin and laxman can tackle the rising ball on grass pitches. Its better to have home advantage with grassless pitches and spinners like kumble and bhajji advantage. chak de india.
