The most prolific captains have always belonged to middle-order B'coz of there ability to handle the pressure and you understand who is captain? the best of the team. Sachin himself knows that he is not good at handeling the pressure so he declined the captaincy. The best is the one who can play in all conditions and at all circumstances not in the conditions tailor made for him like sachin. Is it not known that same sachin failed misrably and was even poor then say Irfan Pathan when he used to play at number 4 and 5 initially.
