steve waugh had a red handkercheif in his pocket during most of his time at the crease...

does he need to take permission from ICC to use that red handkercheif.

lanka, admit to be the loser, and australia as the better team.

its like saying, that was the first time in your lifetime that you have seen gilchrist playing an innings like that.

Roshan,

Red hand kerchief is nothing to do but gilchrist admits that squash ball in glove provided him extra grip as told by his coach. Both r different scenarios. Gilly used an additional object for extra grip which is not allowed by ICC rules. got it?

dude red handkerchief also provided sweat resistant in the hand and thus made better grip. and thats nothing wrong. Only people who cannot play will come up with all kinds of excuses.

Mr.Roshan, haven't you seen players wearing sweat absorbing bandanas or clothing around the neck or head? now some players do it some don't. so don't u think the players who wear it have an advantage over others, because they don't have to wipe sweat every now and then, and maybe concentrate more. so is that cheating? the point we should be able to distinguish between cheating and self innovation or beliefs. he could have got out of the first ball with the squash ball. don't you know some bowlers use extra padding in their shoes to get a better grip of the shoes. some batsmen use heavy pads, some use lighter pads which is all in the spirit of the game. there are advantages and disadvantages here and there in every field. wht about murali and malinga's actions? all the bowlers have more or less similar actions. malinga has an action which is very difficult to pick up for the batsman. so isn't that an advantage for the srilankan team over the others. you have to learn to take things in perspective. this same gilchrist walked, when he was given not out in the last world cup semifinal. and still the aussies won. accept that australia is a far superior team with or without squash ball in gilly's gloves. srilankans are bitter loosers. they didn't have anything for excuse and now they have got some silly reason. and as if gilchrist hasn't played like this before. i have seen him blasting the same srilankans time and again before. comeon, accept that gilly is an honest ,once in lifetime player and a genius. he would be the last player to cheat or be unetical. atleast the srilankans don't deserve to blame others.

hmmm, give the lankans a fair deal dude. its nothing out of ordinary that they protested. its a fair shout. okay aussies are good, but dont let them take things for granted. they routinely raise a ruckus when someone even remotely comes close to using anything new. even the Tv crew is mostly thiers - and they routinely show scenes that are only of interest to thier teams. when an aussie player is sledging, they are onto the ear-rings and pretty babes im sure.

gilchrist is one hell of a player, nothing to take from him or that match, rather it was a no-match - right now aussie team is playing out of thier skins. but yu've got something to protest against unfair use, sure thing, give it a good shout!
