No, nothing the Australians do ever amounts to cheating by ICC standards...its the Indians, Pakis and SriLankans who are the cheaters...they chuck, tamper, show dissent, and sledge, for which they are regularly handed out bans and fines...the Australians are righteous little lambs who do everything int he spirit of the game...how can they be wrong?

How ridiculous - do you know anything about cricket or pay attention to the news - it is the Aussies who think they are above all that they can resort to such behaviour as sledging, showing dissent, tampering, chucking. It is only becouse half the ICC is Aussies that the amount of bans and fines are less than the rest of the world.

yeah i agree...murali's action is suspect and it can't be justified by that idiotic argument of 'deformity by birth'...tomorrow the Aussies might try to get a law framed favouring sledging by saying it is a genetic problem! And then again the ICC will start defining the degree to which you can abuse, which abuses are allowed and which are a no-no and so on...The aussies get off easy for alot of things though the Indians are handed out mass bans for 'showing dissent' to a pompous ass like mike deness...thats bias!

NTR...I was being sarcastic, so chill! Do not assume that being a female i do not know about cricket because that would be a gross misconception on your part. I am just trying to make a point that what Gilchrist has done may not be tantamount to cheating but it does deserve some thoughT from the ICC, who is just casually brushing the matter off. Even HaNsie Cronje was reprimanded for communicating with the coach through headphones though it did not benefit his cricket-playing ability directly. Tomorrow, the Aussies will try something thats not as innocent as a squash ball for better grip...if no law is framed to prevent this, every team will come up with something to 'benefit' their game...its just that the ICC is not as stern in dealing with the Aussies as they are with subcontinental teams...and that is NOT ON!

Your comments are really surprising.. probably you don't know much about cricket or else you are a fan or white cricketers. Under arm bowling, using baxite or carbon layered bat (The great Aussi captain 'Punter' used the carbon bat and made 3500 runs including 5 centuries, before ICC recognized the issue) and now Gilly issue.. all the these shows 'Duryodhana's' technique of winning the game. Coming to chucking claims, I can clearly say that, those claims are just to demoralize Murali, as he is a big threat to Warne's records. Showing dessent,if you are worried abt it, what you call on-field abuses by Aussies to batsmen who are playing..! Aussies are champs in this as well. Even Steve Waugh has been warned by the Umpires in this regard, when he is the captain. Think unbiasedly Nishitha...

Sorry to note, N T R. You seem to have taken Nitasha's comments literally, in most part of your email. I can see the sarcasm in her comment. Except for your comments about Steve Waugh and the warning to him, I think you are also in agreement with her.
