Adam Gilchrist is one of the most loved Cricketers of our times and certainly an icon.
I find nothing wrong with what he did. It's not as if he were using a wider bat or an aluminium bat or something like that.
He is a Gem and the matter should be closed forever. If the Lankans have any grouse, they should get the ICC to ban the use of squash balls. But till such a rule is formed, no harm with it.

dude even srilankans know Gilli is a gem. They are not after his form,..they are just desperate to get more balls to fill the natural void.
