Yes. I feel he cheated. Legally I dont know, but ethically yes. What difference does it make if a bowler tries to do something in the ball. Or the same thing done by an Indian or Pakistani or a Srilankan player ?
Aussies have one rule for them and other for Murali .

I completely agree with you on your point about double standards. I think we can be 1000% sure that if Jayasuriya or Sangakarra did what Gilchrist did, the Australians would be screaming bloody murder, would want Sri Lanka barred from the ICC and thrown out of the United Nations even. It's only because its one of their players that they 'laugh it off'
