Gangly
by AAA on Mar 30, 2007 06:14 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

HOw many times ganguly has score run a ball after his come back to indian team> NOt even in a single game
How many times he has given his opinion when rahul sachin and others gathered (on the field)to discuss the strategy? never
How many times he has dived to save runs? never
SO why he is given a warm welcome. he does not deserve it.

I ask you if you have been demoted and someone your junior is made your boss do you as a self respecting go and give her/him advice out of turn if s/he doesn't ask for it. If the answer is no then i presume you have your answer for your 2nd question. If yes then ofcourse you are right, from your point of view.
I presume making runs at strike rate of 75-80 doest count for anything, it has to be 100 or higher. doesn't matter if wickets are falling all over you.
Well it seems that only Ganguly is not diving, all others members in the Indian team were giving their life diving to save all the runs with a single misfield, and getting scratches all over. Well Yes for that he should be "thrown" out.

Well guys what do you want the Bengalis to say. Hai hai Dada. This is how they have to prove patriotism. Look guys these were the people who stood by him when everyone though he was finished and they are happy now that he has succeeded. But nowhere does it mean these people are not saddened by India early exit. The people of bengal is as much aggrieved as any other state in India. In other states you guys just have to contend with the loss but in Bengal we have to the rubbing our neighbors give us and believe me coming from the bigger country its not easy to digest. So please think before you mark an entire community.
