Bongs have nothing to do with cricket actually !!! They are just concerned about ganguly ganguly and ganguly. Remember India vs S. Africa ??? "No saourav no Cricket" is what they said!! Which goes on to prove they care a damn about country or cricket. Their motto is "let country (India)go to hell" !!! Long live Bonglodesh, west bongol and ganguly rules !!

I agree with you Ravi. Not all but most of the Bongs behave like selfish pigs. I have some friends who are really nice and they themselves get pissed off by such people in their community. When are these Bengalis going to be Indians ? They behave like an independent province that has been forcibly occupied by the Indian nation. All that matters is a Bengali should be given an undue status -- if not they start pelting stones at govt. properties. To be honest, Ganguly has not scored a single century after his arrival -- so what is this bro-ha-ha about -- as if he has broken Don Bradman's record ? I think Kolkattan's should have reprimanded him for not bringing the World Cup home -- but alas .... they have the mentality of tribals wherein all that matters is the man from their state to excel. The problem is, this mentality seems to be spreading all over India where everyone is expecting their state's person to be considered whether it is politics, cricket or even a business contract. These people seem to redefine India as a loose collection of unrelated identities totally hostile to each others progress or development --- Warm Regards, Addy

Its "indians" like u who make inflamatory remarks....whn ganguly had the spat with chappel all bongs were regularly derided...no one saw it that a foreigner was breaking up the team spirit...his credentials as coach is also limited...ganguly's main strength as captain was that we did not see 6 bangal players in the team....the reception to ganguly was firstly not warm..it was just not hostile..so before commenting check the facts...maybe being at airports help....and dont just maginalise bongs..u guys are no good --- a regional langauage is promoted as national---this happens...so next time u talk of indianness look within...

aridaman i think it's you who needs to check the facts not us. Who said "no saurav, no cricket"? Who booed Indian team vs South Africa in Eden Gardens on 25th November 2005. That very day you guys lost respect of rest of India !!! Now don't behave like a shameless fool.

You forgot to mention that they are also the laziest people in the whole world, but, harbour an ego which is as big as Bay of Bengal.
Rest of India should not be giving them too much importance. They are very sparsely represented in the Indian armed forces which means they care a damn about India. They don't have the leadership qualities - see all the companies with Bengalis at helm going into red. Very very parochial - will always prefer a mediocre Bengali from godforsaken WB university than a brilliant candidate. Feel very close to Muslims and Bangladeshis. And the high point in their life is going to UK, secretly harbouring a wish that the British come back to rule India.

well it is like that, sir. also add the following to the above. caste, religion, background, political conections, district, taluk village city etc etc. so we will land up with 5oo and score independent kingdoms as it was before the whites came in and spoilt the show.
