With the slow wickets in the carribean, good catching and close-in fielding will be critical weapons. Our old players are no longer nimble footed. Will Yuvraj, Kaarthick, and Uthappa be enough??

Ageing is a natural process it equally affects the cricketers and layman. You cant expect agility of 20 year at the ripe age of 33 or 34.Isnt it?

I agree, but could we think about getting a fielding coach like Jonty etc. to iron out those chinks and perhaps teach a few tricks. When I watch the Kiwis and the Proteas these days, it almost seems that they possess advanced fielding tactics that our team doesn't even know of!

Yoy will bring change by introducing latest technology on the field but how about attitutde towards fielding?
Telling you frankly, in india, batting and bowling are unduly hyped and revered, leaving little respect for fielding and good fielders unlike our foreign counterparts.

I agree, half of the guys in our team cant even bend down to field, let alone field with agility. This team needs a complete overhaul, but I really cant see any replacements. Good luck at the WC
