Two players who i think will be missed will be laxman and kaif at the WC in WI. there wasnt a need for sehwag and robin uthappa.. one of them would of been enough .. and then dinesh karthick should have not been included .. i dont see him winning matches for india .. so india should of left dinesh , sehwag/robin and included laxman and kaif.
But the sad truth is that no matter how much we get involved and stressed .. the final 15 has been picked .. and if sehwag clicks during the WC (highly unlikely) it will be us who will be giving him the uncessary hipe.
So good or a bad decision, we will have to wait and see.. WHAT DO U GUYS THINK?

Dinesh Karthick already won matches for India. He won man of match against West Indies.
Kaif and VVS have pathetic averages (32, 29) not fit for ODI game.
They havent proved themselves even after giving so many chances.
But i agree that Sehwag should be given royal boot.

How much is Dinesk Karthick's avg? an average of 32 is good my friend in long career. How many players have 4o averages, only a few.

You have to give time to new talent to play a couple of matches. then the best will average 40 or above... look at Dhoni...

nothing against dhoni (i am a fan) but hes played 100 less odi's as compared to yuvraj (165 ODIs against 65 ODIs) ..
new talent .. havent we been giving enough chances to the new talent (raina, gambhir etc) since chappel took over the coaching .... now is a little too late for discovering new talent my friend .. i am in disagreement with your thoughts!

It appears as if ur only a fan or someone who hits the ball hard.. and try 8-10 guys n u will find 1 or 2.. good luck buddy.. and yuvraj on his debut played a memorable knock.. where he scored 84 and india went onto win.. the stats speak over time and i suppose we will have to wait n see how consistent dhoni is after 162 ODI's (i hope he is consistent and better than yuvraj) but not many will write off yuvraj like u are trying to...
and really think twice and be realistic if u will find 1-2 good talents every 8-10 players .. so far after dhoni india really hasnt produced anyone who is capable of winning a match on his own

Dhoni has played which is well engough to justify... Yuivraj or Kaif didnt achieve anything near to it after they had played 65 matches (you can check individual match scores from Cricinfo.com).
If you try out 6 or 8 new talents, you will get 1 or 2 good talents... like Dhoni, and hopefully Robin uthappa...

in the position were Kaif plays it is difficult to have enough overs to score runs important is his contribution at crucial junctures.Unfortunately he is low in form worsened by selectors apathy.

why are u so biased towards dinesh karthick? he has proved himself in whatever opportunities he got as a match winner
