Some people feel that Cricket is a game of one or two like tennis or boxing. It is a team game. If the team can not absorb the shocks and hiccups of losing set players and can not rise up to the occasion why there are 11 players. While countries like South Africa Australia have batsmen up to 10 down, we still look forward to only Sachin or Saurav to play all the time and all the balls correctly and bring the win for us. In a fanatic fan infested country like ours, logic is always kept in the rack. It is also a good ploy to shift the blame on Saurav and Sachin in spite of their performances as that is the only way to guard the failures of Dravid, Dhoni and others. These fanatic fans think honey, digest honey, utter honey and vomit honey.

True. Cricket is a team game. That is why we need to have performers in our team. Did Sehwag make any sensible contribution to the team in the last 2 years? Why is the captain, Vengsarkar, and BCCI keep him in the team as opposed to some deserving talents?
Sachin scored in the last two matches. Was he ever consistent in the last 12 months?
Our great captain Rahul Dravid has gotten into this dirty politics. He is not contributing much these days with him pre-occupied with high level politics with our selectors and BCCI.
Our team very rarely performs as a unit. Even in a circus, jokers perform together with great understanding. Here, our jokers do not understand team work.
