Many people are commenting that Dravid was sent as opener and hence he failed. I do not think this arguement is valid for the performance he gave today. This is a bad performance by any standard. Agreed he is specialized for number 3. But this should not be an excuse for such bad performance. There were many batsmen tried as opener.... but none of them gave this bad performance. Looks like he played this way purposely so he will not be sent to open again.... He needs rest now
