Who's BCCI to ban someone for life?

Who's BCCI?

Can a private body own the name 'India'? - No
So how can BCCI say that it will ban someone for life?

If its so confident, let the players it select represent BCCI and not India, nobody will care to watch those matches. We like cricket as its a game which has the name India next to Sachin et al and we are fans of Indian team not a BCCI team. We follow team India and not the players, they come and go, but team India remains forever.

So someone out some sense into BCCI or even better a PIL that BCCI cant monopolise the game and if it wants to bar it from using the name - Indian team.

Congrats Kapil and ICL.
