Sharad Pawar defensive
by SANTOSH kumar on Aug 21, 2007 11:04 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Sharad Pawar is afraid to lose money. I am sure he has come to BCCI to make money. Every one in Maharastra know the kind of wealth he has - he is most richest politician in India.

I am sure ICL formation will be good for cricket.

Santosh,

If ICL becomes popular even to a small extent Pawar will derail it.

Pawar is a master politician. Congress party has given him absolute power over BCCI to keep him from creating trouble in its party's power structure.

If ICL starts bothering Pawar and he complains about it, the Congress party will help him derail it to keep him happy.

Pawar is abusing power because he is allowed to!!

on the contrary i think Zee people will start buying leading politicians and gather support. Since BCCI is not official body of indian govt and i think ICC credits the authority who has backing of country's govt, i think ICL might get acceptance from ICC and put BCCI out of business. that day would be a great day for indian cricket.
