How to make India world-beaters?
by Raja Mohan on Nov 01, 2006 06:05 AM   Permalink

Any team to be world beaters need to have members who play their part according to primary strengths and help others when required.

The recent series of experiments showed that bowlers bat well and batsmen bowl better. Cant understand why is it important when players dont maintain their core strength itself.

If we see Australia which is currently the team to beat, we dont see such stupid experiments at higher degree.

Mathew Hayden or Ponting dont bowl to keep their place. Shane warne and Mc Grath dont need to bat at No.3 position. All they did is doing their bit well. Somehow Chappel started doing things that were never there in his own team. One straight result from Chappel's crazy experiments is Sehwags downfall. He lost his natural play and is struggling to play in scientific manner.

The experiments must be stopped and make players play at their strength.
