Thank you Mr. Akram for finally saying it, for all the former greats and many of my countrymen are still in denial about the shameful state of our national team. Players who showed immense potential a couple of years ago have failed to deliver, and consistently at that. Those who have performed in the past, with staggering records to prove have been sidelined. It\\\'s time to come to terms with the fact that youth alone is not the answer to creating a good team. You cannot expect someone who shows promise on the domestic level to grow on the international team. They first have to dominate consistently at the domestic level. If post-selection, a players form drops, he needs to be sent back to play for his state and sharpen his skills. We are a country of a billion for crying out loud! Is it that difficult to find 11 capable players at any given point? Sure, it\\\'s impossible to win all the time, but for a nation with such a massive cricketing history, we cannot afford to lose the way we did in South Africa, or the ICC trophy. The day India begins losing at home, the downfall of Indian cricket has begun.
