agreed, Tendulkar is not at his peak for the past few years but between 1990 and 2000, that man was a treat to watch and has championed many victories ( we should not have a short memory). Lara and Tendulkar are almost equals and I would not put either ahead. If Lara has an aptitude for making large hundreds, Tendulkar has been a prolific centurey maker in both forms - 75 hundreds is no joke. Ultimately cricket is not about individuals - atleast a few of the 11 have to perform on any given day. Australia keeps winning not because Ponting is a prolific scorer - but he has others to support him. India and the West Indies teams have let down teh efforst of their two masters on numerous occasions. On the other hand, it is also true that both of them have let down their teams at times, revelaing their human fraility.

My friend , If you go through the career of Sachin starting from 1989 onwards, you will find that Sachin helped India to win only 2 odi's against Australia at Sharjah. Other than that Sachin scored many test and odi tons but India always ended in the loosing side. For your kind information I am putting up an example. Sachin scored 165 against Pakistan at Chennai in 1999 but India failed to score 17 odd runs with 5 wickets in hand. Within a short period Lara single handedly won the game for WI with batsman like Walsh against Australia. So both of them are champions. Sachin's devotion towards rhe game is fantastic while Lara's talent is extraordinary.
you are an idiot

Cant imagine why brainless people like you are allowed to comment against Tendulkar, sad even incompetent people like you are allowed to criticize great players like Tendulkar..
