You forgot that Ganguly is sooooooo scared of facing new ball. He is not able to pull himself together forget about the team. Even guys like Mark Taylor and Steve Waugh who had impeccable records were not spared, then why not Ganguly? The only problem is emotions, we Indians are too sentimental about a lousy game which is played only by handful of countries. Keep emotions aside and get facts together and you will see why Ganguly should step down.

mr. pandey ,
with due respect i would like to let you know that nobody is against dropping ganguly from the team on grounds of poor performance(this includes all supporters of dada)but the objection is on how it is done.you raise the example of steve waugh and mark taylor.let me remind you that before being dropped from the squad they were approached in a proper manner by the board asking them to step down as they were looking ahead.nothing such was done with ganguly.instead he was dropped questionably and asked to perform at domestic level before bringing him back.even after scoring century after century and picking wickets he was chosen for tests only and not ODIs.even a great player like sachin has also not performed for past 7 games ,then why not drop him and ask the owner of 20,000 odd runs in world cricket to prove himself in domestic level before being reselected in the team if this can be applied to a man who has seen team india sail through its drowing days scoring over 15,000 international runs.
