Sourav has been a gift to indian cricket. He has always led aggressively and taken the fight to the opposition. He has to be credited with the way he has infused metal in the historically soft and non aggressive indian side. Any credit given to him is less for bringing about this transformation. Under his leadership the team rose to new heights and the talent of every player blossomed. Nobody could imagine such heights when the team was down in the dumps during tendulkars captaincy. Add to captaining skills is his phenomenal record as a player. And he has acheived all this while facing continous opposition and humiliation inflicted on him by the press, critics like bedi and sometimes the fans.
