Why was Ismail Darbar laughing during Poonam's performance?

I saw the recorded video and I was surprised to see Ismail Darbar laughing at her when Poonam was performing 'Ku Hu Ku Hu..'. Any idea why he did so? I dont think Poonam looked funny in that classical song.
