I really surprise when people compare Aneek with great singers like Poonam, Raja and Amanat. Poonam among them is uncomparable because of her effortless flawless singing. so far she has slipped only once... that too due to illness... she must be given another chance. Raja and Amanat come next because they have tried difficult songs and have succeeded more often.
Aneek on the other hand never tries difficult songs...he always takes simple and popular numbers (of the category of below par shows like indian idol, Voi etc.).. and so far he has succeeded in singing well.
But when we are comparing them... I think the credit should go to the singers, who at least try difficult songs.
The best way of Judging should be to call an outsider and let him give songs of his choice to the participants. (The song assignment should not be from the existing mentors so as to avoid more drama). This will be a true test for finding a great singer.
