Scapegoats

We can't attribute abysmal performance of India in WC-07 to any single person. It is collective failure. India had never shown professional performance to be world winners like srilankans and Oz. The irate people of india are now showing their anger by asking to throw senior players from the team. I don't think this is any solution to the problem at hand. India couldn't produce players with alround abilities who can win game on their day. Even the young lads coming into the team are not athletic enough to show fielding skills like senior players in SA, OZ, SRL et al., let alone young buddies in their respective teams. Like in Australia, if one man fails, other man of the team standup and win the game. While in india, we expect a single player to win every game. Don't forget that Tendulkar was only player of India who had delivered under trying conditions and on whom entire nation hopes depended. He athletic even today while running for others. That is why he is recognised world wide among greats. Lately, he has been in and out for reasons unavoidable for any player in international cricket with such a long service. He gets a chance to play an odd game and people expect him to score not less than 100 in every match and put him under tremendous pressure. Dear friends, I plead all of you don't embarass the nation by embarassing Sachin.
