Hats off to Harshan!!!!!
by mallaiah anchoori on Dec 21, 2007 08:37 PM

India needs such dedicated and patriotic heroes like Harshan who sacrificed their lives for the sake of mother land.Such people are worth emulation by all the youngsters of the country especially at a time when values are thrown to winds and people are growing more and more self- centred with materialistic out look and least concern even for the fellow beings-not to speak of the country.Harshan's life should serve as a bright beckon in this atmosphere of encircling brink of moral values.Every child should learn to set the goals of life right in childhood itself and endeavour accordingly.Unfortunately our present day children are failing to grasp the messages sent by child heroes like Dhruva,Sivaji who epitomised strong will power and deternmination. It s high time that our elders take pains to make their children read and assimilate our mythology/history which are replete with such illustrious characters and mould their kids into responsible and patriotic citizens of future. We have,in fact, many Harshans amongst our children;they need to be groomed well, their dormant instincts of virtues be ignited at the right time. The modern day education systems also needs to be restructured with required focus on the need for improving moral values in children at their budding age itself. It is a strange phenomenon that our culture, moral values etc are taught to children well outside India than within India by voluntary organisations like Chinmaya,Balagokul, Balvihar etc
