Can you spot one Indian cricketer (past and present) who can be called Mr. Consistent, Mr.Reliable, etc? None to my knowledge. Like all of you, I too have been following this game for years and have never ever seen a back to back game that can be called a classic or an epic. Most of the time it has been a flash in the pan kind of a situation only - one inning wonder if you may call that. Never ever seen a repeat performance at any time. Hence the sheen was never there in the first place with any of our cricketers to say that it has been lost now. These kind of defeats have become part and parcel of our game from the good old days. Legacy lives on. May be it has become worse now.
