India's set back, Ganguly, Groupism, etc. etc.
by Kishore Lahiry on Apr 01, 2007 09:13 PM

Our team has not qualified to cross the first hurdle and this is fact. It will remain in the history of WC forever. It was the failure of the team management to read the pitch properly in the game against Bangladesh. Sluggish approach towards the game. No motivation. Casual field placement and routine bowling change and finally Bad Coaching. Sehbag turned out of shape. Irfan Pathan, a true genious, turned flop. Kaif and Raina lost forms to be selected in the team. These faults go in whose account? No individual can bring defeat or win for a team as it is a team game. If Ganguly is selfish what others did? What is the track record of Mr. Chappel in coaching? What did India do in last Champion's trophy and in ODI against South Africa? Was there Ganguly? So, it is a total flop. BCCI should act tough this time to fix the responsibilities of each individual.
