We all know that it will be a while before we forget our sad exit from the WC.
But to put things in perspective, after seeing SA, NZ and AUS play do we really think we stood a chance even if we had qualified for the SUPER 8's.
All the teams I have mentioned are playing cricket at a completely different level, batsmen from SA and AUS have proved that big shots matter but what matters most is the singles and the twos , everytime a ball is hit in the gaps they are up for two immediately , how many of our stars can truly run or have the will to run singles????
With context to the Bangladesh game, one inings has 300 balls and our innings had 150 dot balls , how on earth can you put up any score of any respectability if you have 150 dot balls ,,,, even if we had scored 55 from the 150 dot balls we could have won the game.
Our approach and our attitude was and has been lacking for a while now,, I dont see any major changes happening in the team we will go along with these same stars , with a few scapegoats, im certain Mr. Uthappa will be shown the door and Kumble is retiring so you have two changes that are easily justified , Agarkar mmmm might be out but not for long
We will go to Bangladesh in May trounce them (hopefully) and everything will be forgotten
