Arjun, You said that when Greg Chappel and Rahul Dravid took charge in 2005-06 there were tremendous success. Agreed. But they were at home/sub-continent. Look at results abroad: it is pathetic.
Regarding youngsters given chance: they were given chance, but failed to deliver. In SA India lost the ODI series 5-0! What about that?
I agree that it is high time we look at young players. A change is needed. But to develop world class players, one needs a good coach and an aggressive captain. We certainly don't want a Chappel-Dravid combo once again who would ruin a potential all-rounder like Pathan.
