Disaster is the word, for the performance of Indian cricket and players. This Indian team has brought such a disgrace to the whole nation. The fact that they could only win against a club like team Bermuda is highly disappointing and should be taken very serious. We might have lost that also, had Bermuda batted first. The so called bunch of great players is a total disappointment. They could not chase a total of 250 on a flat wicket and this is the team we thought would win the world cup. The authorities should sack and get rid of all these players and should never take them again. We should take a whole set of new players and train and give opportunities to them. Doesn%u2019t matter the young team win or loose because the same happens with the current team. We can win matches only against Bermuda, Kenya or Holland. What is the point in continuing with this team?
The BCCI or the govt should take necessary steps to do that and work in favour of cricket and the millions of people and not for the filthy rich players.
Chapell and Dravid keep saying we didn%u2019t play well and we lost. Why do other teams like Australia or South Africa always play well and our team always don%u2019t play well. What is the answer for that? We heard Dravid blaming about the fixture of world cup. This is it, a bad workman always complains about his tools. No other team has the problem about the fixtures, only Dravid seem to have problem because we lost to teams like Srilanka and Bangladesh.
The way players got out looked so silly. They were rushing into the dressing room. A total of 250 looked so daunting task for them. The way Uthappa, Sehwag and Agarkar got out is a serious issue. They should never be in the team again and this should be a lesson for the people playing for the country. Agarkar%u2019s attitude was so poor and unprofessional. His body language was ridiculous. Just watch the last over he bowled and the way he got out. He was rushing to the pavilion. I wonder how someone like him could be in a world cup team.
I wonder what coach Chappel does for the team. All the areas, whether it%u2019s batting, bowling or specially fielding look very bad and so unprofessional. What does he work on? Our players don%u2019t even run front or to the side to take catches, but we saw Srilankan players running even backwards to take catches. That%u2019s good cricket. Our players and coach don%u2019t even know the basic fact that catches win matches. Hats off for Tom moody for coaching them well. Where as chapel has done nothing and has been a total disaster. We%u2019ll be better off without him, and he knows it.
The senior players should now at least go out of the team and give others a chance. We had enough of you. You might be holding great records. Anyone would hold such type of records if you play for some odd 20 years. It is shame that we do not have a batsman like Ricky Ponting in our country; otherwise we would not have reached such a situation.
So old horses please retire from Indian team and make your way out because your records are not good for cricket or the country.
